William C. McClintock

William C. McClintock, 73, of Montoursville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Williamsport Home, where he was recovering from a lawn tractor accident.

He was born Nov. 11, 1938, in South Williamsport, a son of Frederick Sr. and Alice Blaker McClintock.

William was a U.S. Army veteran, had owned and operated the former McClintock's Hair Styling in the Loyal Plaza and had owned and operated the former Shore Acres. He enjoyed working outdoors and loved animals.

He is a beloved husband, father and friend who will be always cherished.

William was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Rose; and several beloved aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, the former Gaynold L. Baumunk, with whom he would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on October 10; a daughter, Fawn R. McClintock of Montoursville; a brother, Frederick (Shelby) McClintock Jr. and their son, David of Tennessee; an aunt, Rialda Blaker and her sons, Jody and Michael; several close family friends; and his dog, Trindle.

The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Interment will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
