It seems President Obama and his followers want to blame the country's problems on the so-called 1 percent. I'd like to talk about the 10 percenters. I say we have overachievers, middle-of-the-road folks and underachievers. The 10 percent fall into the latter group. I consider myself a middle-of-the-road type. I know I could have made a lot more money in my life if I was willing to spend more time away from family and friends, and less free time to do the things I enjoy. But that's the life I chose. The 10 percent crowd is always looking to blame someone else for their lack of success usually the rich.
Which brings me back to Obama. He's very rich by most people's standards. I don't begrudge him his wealth. He figured out a way to become rich, and did. That's what this country is all about. No need to apologize for it. And don't think for a second Obama doesn't invest his money with the hated Wall Street crowd.
But that's his MO. Turn the people against each other, railing against Wall Street and the rich. You don't hear a word about that out of his loyal subjects, because they want to continue feeding at the trough that he's created. There's a few regulars who write in here, always looking for handouts, especially free health care. My guess is most, if not all, have either worked for the government, or just hate the fact they don't have wealth and success that the 1 percent have. Maybe if you had just worked a little harder!
