Evelyn I. Ressler, 90, of Montoursville, died on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Valley View Nursing Center. Her husband, Clyde E. Ressler, died on Dec. 13, 2007.
Evelyn was born on March 3, 1922, in Williamsport, and was the daughter of Oscar and Dora Miller Ross.
She was a member of Trinity Gospel Church.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Clyde (Ruth) Ressler and Ross (Karen) Ressler, both of Chesterton, Ind.; two daughters, Kathleen (Paul) Chapman, Montoursville and Carol (David) Smith, Pennsdale; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, John Ressler; a brother, Eldon Ross; three sisters, Agnes Lowe, Fay Dawson, and Rose Mary Erwin.
Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Kaufman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2102 Northway Road, Williamsport, with Reverend Jack Delaney, Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
