If you were to look at ballots on election day, can you tell what ones are filled out by illegal aliens?
Can you tell which ones were cast by dead people?
Can you spot the ballots that were made by the same person under different names?
No?
Well, neither can anyone else that is why we need voter ID laws!
People who are against voter ID laws try to say that there is so little fraud it is not worth the effort.
The truth is that there is only so little fraud that is discovered because no one is checking voter ID's.
Imagine if a driver gets pulled over by a police officer, and the driver is not asked to show his driver's licence.
The officer can then truthfully say that he did not find anyone driving without a licence, but that does not mean that there are not plenty of people driving without a licence especially if they know they will not be checked!
Another reason some are against voter ID laws they say, is that so many voters do not have one, and cannot get one?
Not counting dead people, and illegal aliens, how do lawful people ever do anything else these days that require an ID?
Cash a check, you need ID. Drive, you need ID.
Get a library card, you need ID.
To even enter into a government building to see the ones who make these rules requires ID, but to vote for the person to hold the highest office in the land does not?
To be sure your legal vote counts, make sure only legal votes count!
