Two people in separate cases face a charge of prostitution, according to court records filed by city police at the office of District Judge James Carn.
Alfred Taylor, 54, of 951 Second St., was charged after he allegedly offered an undercover officer $50 if she performed a sexual act for him in the 100 block of Maynard Street on July 17, police said. He has been sent a summons to appear before the judge.
Lisa E. Gray, 51, of 1542 Mount Carmel St., was charged after she offered an undercover officer $20 if he would perform a sexual act for her at Park Avenue and Campbell Street on March 15, investigators allege. Following her arraignment earlier this month before Carn, she was released on $1,500 bail.
