Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Laidacker, Williamsport, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 8, 2012.
They were married at Mooreland Baptist Church, Northumberland.
Mrs. Laidacker, the former Joanne Cipriani, is a native of Muncy. She is the daughter of the late Violet and Richard Cipriani.

Mr. Laidacker, a native of Northumberland, is the son of the late Edna and Daniel Laidacker. He retired after 30 years of service from the United States Postal Service.
They are the parents of three daughters, Lori Forner and Sherry Metzger, both of Williamsport, and Karen Longo, Largo, Fla., and two sons, Steve, Miami, Fla., and David, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In honor of their anniversary, a family trip to South Carolina is being planned.
