Mr. and Mrs. John Houseknecht, Montoursville, will observe their 35th wedding anniversary Sept. 3, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Hobart Campbell at Montoursville Presbyterian Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Houseknecht, the former Carol N. Richie, is the daughter of Mrs. Norma Richie and the late Elery P. Richie Sr. She graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1973 and is employed by East Lycoming YMCA, Muncy, at the front desk and in child care.
Mr. Houseknecht is the son of the late Sally and John Houseknecht. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1970 and is employed by Kellogg Co., Muncy, as a production supervisor.
They are the parents of three sons, Brian and Jonathan, both of Montoursville, and Thomas, North Wales, and a daughter, Michelle, Montoursville.
There are two grandsons.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple is taking a week-long trip to Virginia.
