Announcement has been made of the engagement of Demaree Starr Showers and Michael Steven Koehler, both of Williamsport.
A Sept. 14, 2013, wedding at Stone Barn Winery, Selinsgrove, is being planned.
Showers is the daughter of Susan and Chris Balmoos, Millville. She graduated from Millville Area High School in 2006 and received an associate degree in applied science from Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, in 2009. She is employed by Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a registered nurse.
