A 38-year-old homeless woman who was arranging a drug sale for an undercover city police officer faces charges of theft and receiving stolen property for failing to follow through with the sale after she took $50 from the cop, according to court records.
Nicki Ann Martin, took the money from the officer in the area of High and Herdic streets about 5:20 a.m. on Aug. 2, but she never returned with the drugs nor did she return the money, police said.
She was arraigned later the same day and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $3,500 bail. She has since waived her preliminary hearing.
