Two woman face criminal action for allegedly racking up charges on a stolen credit card, city police said.
Meghan Pringle Good, 27, of 1312 Almond St., and Phyllis Marie Wettlaufer, 29, of 190 Chadlee Drive, South Williamsport, have both been charged with theft by deception for using a stolen credit card belonging to Good's mother, Deborah Solley, also of Almond Street.
In mid-May, Good racked up $1,118 in charges on her mother's card while Wettlaufer spent $1,212 on the card, police said. While Good waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Allen P. Page III, a bench warrant for Wettlaufer's arrest was expected to be filed because she failed to appear for her hearing.
