Frances M. Finicle, of Montoursville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at the Williamsport Home. She was born March 3, 1926, in Williamsport, the daughter of Washington and Mary Elizabeth Westbrook Lowe.
Frances was a member of the Warrensville United Methodist Church, and had retired from the former GTE Sylvania in Montoursville.
She was predeceased by her parents; stepfather, Freeman R. Buck; husband, Jacob W. Finicle, who passed away May 12, 1990; and a son, Jeffrey L. Finicle.
She is survived by her sons, William G. of Hughesville and Paul S. of Montoursville; daughters, Elaine M. (Raymond) Kepner of Cogan Station, and Donna M. Achberger of Williamsport; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Interment will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
