Nancy Probst Alexander

Nancy Probst Alexander passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Bradford County Manor after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Nancy was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Jersey Shore, Pa., to Benjamin and Wanda Shuman Brown, who preceded her in death.

She loved antiques and flowers, and was an extremely talented designer and decorator. She enjoyed creating beautiful gardens and was always happy to share her flowers with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne J. Alexander of Towanda; a daughter, Lauren Sipe of Centralia, Mo.; two sisters, Donna Cadrone of Altoona, Pa., and Betty Poust of Pine Creek, Pa.; cherished friend, Mary Bilby of Avis, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends. Mrs. Alexander was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers; a daughter, Cheryl English; and a son, Brad English.
