James Dean Brown, 20, of 718 Sheridan St., has been charged by city police with false reports to law enforcement for allegedly submitting a false report that he was a victim of a robbery in the 1000 block of Dewey Avenue earlier this year. He is free on $5,000 bail following his arraignment last week before District Judge James Carn.
