Mr. and Mrs. Dana Ranck, Montgomery, observed their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 26, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Harold Stoudt at Christ Lutheran Church, Watsontown.
Mrs. Ranck, the former Jeanne Ross, is a native of Northumberland. She is the daughter of the late Anna and Harry Sarvis. She graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1971. She worked at Sprout Waldron, Muncy, for 10 years and has been employed by Celebrating Home, formally Home Interiors and Gifts, as a designer and executive for 32 years.

Mr. Ranck, a native of Watsontown, is the son of Alice Ranck, Watsontown, and the late Donald Ranck. He graduated from Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 1968 and from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1970. He retired from the state Department of Transportation, Montoursville, as a bridge designer after 33 years of service.
They are the parents of two daughters, Angela Emerick, Hughesville, and Jennifer Harer, Muncy.
There are four grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, the couple will go on a trip to Ocean City, N.J., this month.
