Announcement has been made of the engagement of Emily Sanso and Lance Leidhecker, both of Williamsport.
A Dec. 29 wedding at the Community Arts Center is being planned.
Sanso is the daughter of Erin and Steve Cappelli, Williamsport, and the late Timothy Sanso. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006. She is employed by Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

LANCE LEIDHECKER
Leidhecker is the son of Linda and Greg Leidhecker, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville High School in 1999. He is employed by Halliburton, Montgomery, and served for four years in the Navy as a third class petty officer.
