Announcement has been made of the engagement of Mary Lou Secules, Hughesville, and Matthew McCaslin, Dyer, Tenn.
A May 25, 2013, wedding in Linden is being planned.
Secules is the daughter of Emily and Dale Secules, Hughesville. She graduated from S.C. International School, Oxford, England in 2009. She is pursuing a degree in English at the University of Tennessee. She is employed by Food Rite Corp.

MATTHEW McCASLIN
McCaslin is the son of Shelia McCaslin and Kenny McCaslin, Newbern, Tenn. He graduated from Gibson County High School in 2006 and from Tennessee Technology Center, Newbern, Tenn., in 2010 with a degree in automotive technologies. He is employed at Tim Castellaw Ford, Dyersburg, Tenn., as an automotive technician.
