Announcement has been made of the engagement of Courtney Jane Vitolo and Matthew David Traynor, both of Jamestown, N.Y.
An Oct. 12, 2013, wedding at the Church of the Resurrection, Muncy, is being planned.
Vitolo is the daughter of Barbara and Robert Vitolo, Turbotville. She graduated from Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 2009 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in medical technology at Edinboro University.

Traynor is the son of Patricia Traynor, Lampeter. He graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Lampeter, in 2008 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Edinboro University.
