Hope Baker and Kevin McGowan, both of Williamsport, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 4, 2012.
Dennis Buttorff officiated at the ceremony held at the Genetti Hotel, where a reception also was held.
The bride is the daughter of Carol and Emmett Baker, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1993.

McGowan is the son of Daniel N. McGowan, Williamsport, and the late Linda McGowan. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1989. He is employed by Wheels of Williamsport, Montoursville.
Matron of honor was Lisa Gottschall.
Best man was Dan N. McGowan.
Following a cruise, the couple is residing in Williamsport.
