Why does the press continue to let Paul Ryan repeat his lies without calling him on them? For instance, Ryan has blamed the U.S. credit rating downgrade on President Obama. According to Fox News, "the credit rating was actually downgraded because Republicans threatened not to raise the debt ceiling."
Fox News called Ryan's speech "Deceiving." They said Romney was the Olympic Silver Medalist for lying, but Ryan's speech "was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech."
Ryan lied by omission as well. He neglected to mention his stand on a woman's right to choose whatever medical procedures she and her doctor think is necessary. Ryan has the same stand as Todd Akin, a Republican Ryan lambasted and tried to drive from the party.
Elections should be about issues: Who has a record of good ideas? Who has a record of accomplishments?
Elections should be about vision and leadership: Whose plan for America is better? Whose plan for America will help the poor, the middle class and the entire country?
Elections should not be won by suppressing the other party's voters. It should not be won by lying about the other candidates record while omitting ones own record.
We need another Republican candidate. By their own actions, neither of these men is worthy of leading America.
