Clyde S. Miller Jr., 77, of 6397 Armstrong Road, Muncy, passed peacefully into eternal rest Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at his home.
Born Nov. 14, 1934, in Williamsport, Clyde was the son of the late Clyde S. and Sylvia E. (Houseknecht) Miller Sr.
A 1952 graduate of Montgomery High School, Clyde served a tour in the U.S. Army before beginning a lifelong career with Lundy Lumber and Lundy Homes. Clyde retired as President of Lundy Homes in 1997. He served as Regional Director for Northern Central Bank and as President of the West Branch Builder's Association. Clyde was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church and was a volunteer at Son-Light House in Muncy.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Margaret G. "Peg" Miller, who died Feb. 8, 2009.
Surviving are Clyde's children, William N. and Ursula Miller, Las Vegas, Nev., Brett M. Miller, Williamsport, and Eric L. and Tara Miller, Muncy. Clyde was the loving grandfather of nine grandchildren, Pam (Shawn) Dunmoyer and Brad (Kim) Miller, Shane (Anastasia), Rocky (Suzanna), Jessica, and Gabe Miller, and Nikole (Colin) Day, Eric (Erin), and Matthew (Kalee) Miller; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church. Officiating will be his pastor, Rev. Viking Dietrich. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, and again from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, PA 17752.
