Dale Leroy Watkins

Dale Leroy Watkins, 59, of 524 Little Plum Run Road, Lock Haven, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Oct. 18, 1952, in Lock Haven, the son of the late William and Florence Dugan Watkins. On Oct. 18, 1991, in Lock Haven, he married the former Barb Sementelli who survives.

Dale was a 1971 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He had worked for Westco of Williamsport, and First Quality of McElhattan. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jaime (Scott) Cunningham, of Horseheads, N.Y., Nicole (Dan) Hastings, of York, PA; one stepdaughter, Rebekah Wadsworth, and a stepson John (Monica) Wadsworth, both of Lock Haven; two sisters, Eleanor (William) Briggs, of Philadelphia, and Carol (Brett) Menaker, of Kennewick, Wash.; five brothers, William (Shirley), of Alburndale, Fla., Fred (Joyce), and Ron (Peg), both of Williamsport, Paul (Diane), of Jersey Shore, and Larry, of Dewart, and one greatly loved grandson, Garrett Cunningham, of Horseheads, N.Y. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with Lay Minister Bonnie I. Wood officiating. Private burial services will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Life Program through the funeral home.
