Cynthia M. Runner, 83, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
Born April 23, 1929, in Woolrich, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lena Knarr Geise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Runner, in 2002, and her son, Allen Runner, in 1997.
She was employed at L.L. Stearns as a seamstress.
Surviving are her children, Elyse Runner, of Williamsport, Jessica McSwain (Willie), of Williamsport, and Richard Runner (Jacqueline), of Sterling, Va.; six grandchildren, Gregory, Matthew, Stephanie, Scott, Allen Jr. and Robert; two brothers, Arnold Geise, of Berwick, and Max Geise, of Avis; and a sister, Ileen Dugan, of Hughesville.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m.
