Florence J. Morse, 88, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the Williamsport Home.
She was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Williamsport, a daughter of Rexford and Rhoda E. Lee Hall.
Florence had worked at the Presbyterian Home and the Lycoming Blind Association. She was a member of the East End Baptist Church, where she held various offices. Florence enjoyed being with her family, dancing and doing crafts with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, George M. Brion; and a brother, Larry Hall.
Florence is survived by her husband, Lester S.; a son, James M. Brion of Williamsport; two daughters, Sherry C. Stetler of Newark, Del., and Patricia C. (Sid) Bodle of Brockport, N.Y.; two brothers, Russell (Doris) Hall of Williamsport and Francis (Marlene) Hall of Danville; a sister, Beverly Irion of Montoursville; seven grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Calvin Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
