Jesse C. Richart, 24, of Unityville, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born Aug. 13, 1988, in Bloomsburg, he was a son of Shawn M. Richart of Unityville and Lisa M. (Poust) Hall of Orangeville.
Jesse was a 2007 graduate of Sullivan County High School. He also served in the U.S. Navy.

He was an operating engineer and a member of Local No. 542. At the time of his death, he was employed by the Patterson Wilder Company.
Jesse was an avid outdoorsman and while in high school he was a participant in the Keystone Youth Rodeo. He also enjoyed hunting, horseshoes, bull riding and horseback riding. He was the Vice President of the Sunday Funday Club.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Shane Richart and his fiancee, Chrissy, of Unityville; two half-sisters, Amber Johnson and her husband, George, of Orangeville; Shawnia Richart of Unityville; a half-brother, Coy Richart, also of Unityville. Also surviving are his grandparents, Charles "Jack" and Sarah Norma Poust, of Muncy; Nancy and Donnie Romano, of Dushore; and a stepgrandmother, Gail Richart, of Montoursville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Richart and by two uncles, Dane Poust and Lynn Richart.
