I'm Catholic and the best people I know are Jews. I have friends that are Jewish and I enjoy every one of them. I square dance together with Jewish people. It's funny, but no one asks when your name is common what your religion or nationality is.
I don't go around stating I'm Catholic, but I'm proud of it. Some things they believe in, I don't. For instance, I don't tell the priest my sins, I tell them to the guy up above in heaven. I noticed the write up in the issue of the Sun-Gazette Aug. 18. It said that Jews and Catholics around the world work together.
Now that is a great statement.
Have a great day.
