Donald A. Daugherty, 78, of Mount Wolf, passed away at 11:55 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at ManorCare North.
Donald was born Sept. 18, 1933, in Muncy, Pa., and was the son of the late Amos and Anna (Hepler) Daugherty.
In 1951, he graduated from Jersey Shore High School in Jersey Shore, Pa., and in 1953 graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in business. He worked for the Pennsylvania State Liquor Store in Retail Sales before retiring. He was a member of the Mason's Lodge 451 in York; York Rite Consistory; Williamsport Consistory and Mount Zion United Church of Christ in York. Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Donald is survived by his two sons, Mark Daugherty of Mount Wolf, David Daugherty of West York; his two grandchildren, Heather Kohler of Windsor, Steven Daugherty of Manchester; and his sister, Phyllis Bonnell of Jensen Beach, Fla.
Services were held on Sept. 12, 2012, in York.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
