Adrian A. "Ady" Fay, 84, of Tioga, Pa., passed away Sept. 11, 2012, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y. He was the husband of Estella Jean Davis, whom he married June 3, 1949.
He was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Hammondsport, N.Y., the son of Francis Fredrick Fay and Laroca Rose Ames Fay.
He retired after 31 years, from Ingersoll Rand Corp. in 1983, where he was a draftsman and department head. Ady was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a graduate of Covington High School and Williamsport Community College. In addition, he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wellsboro, Pa.

Surviving is his wife; five sons, Scott Alan Fay, Timothy Fay and Thomas Fay, all of Tioga, Pa., Ted Fay (Brenda K.), Lancaster, Pa., David Lane Fay (Christine L.), Johnson City, N.Y.; sisters, Cora Janet Enriot, Pittsford, N.Y., Beatrice Grant (Daniel), Covington, Pa., Ada Donaldson, Pine City, N.Y., Sandra Garrison, Canandaigua, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to Adrian's Life Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro, Pa.
Funeral is Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 53 West Ave., Wellsboro, Pa., with Pastor Peter A. DeVantier officiating. Burial in Wellsboro Cemetery with full Military Honors.
