Doris Yoder Lawrence, 86, of Williamsport, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
Born March 30, 1926, in Masontown, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Harriet Westley Dodson.
Doris was a secretary for the Social Security Board in Williamsport and retired from there in 1968. She also worked for attorney Pat Fierro as a stenographer.

Doris was a member of Cogan House Christian Church and Newberry Church of Christ.
She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, playing word games and watching game shows.
Surviving are her five children, Joanne M. (Gary) Gross of Trout Run, Thomas (Janet) Yoder of Geneseo, Ill., Darlene (Jim) Shuta of Trout Run, Shirley (Bob) Kase of Trout Run, Barbara (Carl) Betts of Trout Run; a brother, Ralph Dodson of Williamsport; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Yoder, in 1981 and her second husband, Russell, in 2012.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport, with her pastor, Rev. Ron Savits, officiating. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be in Montoursville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
