Fay E. Craver

Fay E. Craver, 71, formerly of Williamsport, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at her home in Troy following a brief illness.

Fay's husband, William C. Craver Jr., died March 4, 2012.

Fay was a former member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved gospel music and country music, especially the Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama. Elvis was her favorite.

Born Aug. 13, 1941, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of James E. and Fay E. (Dershem) Ireland.

Surviving are sons, James E. of South Williamsport and John L. of Montgomery; daughters, Mary Joan Hill of Montgomery and Amanda M. Craver of Williamsport; sisters, Margaret Miller of Williamsport and Eva Turko of Newport, Ore.; grandchildren, Brandon and Corey Craver, Brittany (Caleb) Brown, James (Tonya) Craver Jr., Kylee DeWitt, Jarrett Artley, Aron (Noah) Hill, Okysia and Iziah Robertson.

Fay was predeceased by her husband; a daughter, Fay E. Coffelt; brothers, James and Clarence (Bud) Ireland and a grandson, Tyler Craver. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with Pastor Paul C. Terre-Blanche officiating. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Montoursville Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
