Car hits propane tank outside house

September 17, 2012
From Staff Reports , Williamsport Sun-Gazette

City police and fire departments responded shortly after 6:15 p.m. Saturday when a car struck the side of a house at Fifth Avenue and High Streets.

No one was injured in the house at 685 Fifth Ave., the residence of Gwen and Bob Berstine.

It was unclear if the driver of the car was hurt. The driver's identity was not immediately available.

The car appeared to have struck a propane tank and not the house, according to owner Bob Berstine, who was home at the time of the crash but declined further comment.
