Patricia Ann (Voneida) Dewalt, 59, wife of Steve Dewalt, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012.
She was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Muncy, a daughter of Geneieve (Stryker) and the late Robert M. Voneida.
Patricia was a registered nurse at the surgery center at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Montgomery. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, quilting and gardening. Patricia was a graduate of Montgomery Area High School and a graduate of Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and in 1996 was Woman Of The Year for the Terra Haute, Indiana Council.
In addition to her husband and mother, Patricia is survived by her daughter, Cheryl M. Dewalt and her son, Christopher W. Dewalt; one sister, Diane (Scott) Latsha; one brother, Robert L. Vonedia; one sister-in-law, Sharon E. Dewalt; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, with the Rev. Viking E. Dietrich officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville.
