Susie Edwards, 94, formerly of Broad Street, Jersey Shore, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at ManorCare in Jersey Shore.
She was born in Jersey Shore on Aug. 8, 1918.
Susie was the wife of the late Lyle Edwards who passed in 1991.
She was a member of the St. Luke Church.
Susie is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Rogers of Williamsport and three grandchildren, Mark, Tina and Cara; four great-grandchildren, Ariel, Brooke, Chase and Lexi, also, one great-great-grandson, Kevin.
She was the last of 11 children of Ralph and Lucrecia DiStasi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the St. Luke Church, 120 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore, with Rev. Bert Kozen celebrant. Interment will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Autism Assoc., 192 Lexington Ave., NY, NY 10016 or to St. Luke Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
