Roundup: Millionaire boys win in OT

Williamsport goalie Tanner Kreisher made two huge saves late in regulation as Williamsport overcame some in-game adversity and defeated Shikellamy, 1-0 in overtime Monday. Following some lineup shuffling due to yellow cards, Kreisher made his clutch saves and helped force overtime. Once there Ben Hillman connected on the game-winning goal three minutes in.

Austin Bower and Elias George scored goals as Warrior Run blanked Loyalsock, 2-0 and remained undefeated. Loyalsock hung tough with the Defenders (8-0) but George's goal in the 64th minute helped Warrior Run seal the win.

Devin Marriott and Jim McMahon eached scored a goal and assisted the other on each of them as Montoursville blanked Jersey Shore, 2-0 and evened its record at 3-3.

Ryan Sterner scored three goals and Chris Learn added another as Williamson romped to a 4-1 win over Towanda. The Warriors outshot Towanda, 4-1.

Austin Champion scored a goal for St. John Neumann in its 8-1 loss to Benton.

Paul Warner scored twice and South Williamsport held Montgomery without a shot as the Mounties won their first game, 5-0.

Tommy Blasi, Doug Shrimp, and Derek Wilkins scored as Sullivan County beat Southern Columbia.

In girls tennis, Hughesville freshmen Olivia Gorg and Anna Trevouledes won a three-set thriller at No. 2 doubles, highlighting Hughesville's 5-0 win over Lewisburg. Gorg and Trevouldes won first and third-set tiebreakers 7-2 in a long match that also included a 10-game second set.

Five straight-set wins pushed Montoursville past Jersey Shore, 5-0.

In men's soccer, Matt Snively headed in a goal in the 88th minute, but York score twice in the first half for a 2-1 win over Lycoming.
