Thomas G. "Zig" Hauser, 80, of Pleasant Hills Road, Williamsport, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Youngstown, Pa., a son of Charles J. and Josephine (Gieger) Hauser.
Zig was a graduate of the former Williamsport Technical Institute.

He married the former JoAnn Kissell on Jan. 25, 1958, in the Trinity Episcopal Church in Williamsport and she survives.
Zig was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.
He was a Korean War veteran in the U.S. Army.
Zig retired from the former Chemical Leaman Co. as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Besides his wife of 54 years, JoAnn, he is survived by a daughter, Cindy Hauser of Alexandria, Va.; two sons, Thomas Hauser of Pipersville and Randy Hauser of Manheim; two siblings, Ronny and Carol Ann; along with four grandsons, Kyle, Benjamin, Jarod and Jefferson.
Zig's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Andrew France officiating.
His family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church or the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County, P.O. Box 3232, Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
