Russell E. Garret III "Russ", 47, of Williamsport, was called home to the Lord on Sept. 17, 2012, after a heroic battle with cancer.
Russ was a jack of many trades, known for his exceptional eye for fine antiques and collectibles. He appreciated the beauty of nature and passed along that love to his beloved daughters.
Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Russell E. and Sandra J. Garret and brother, Michael. He is survived by his ex-wife, Pearl J. Garret; daughters, Bethany J. and Alicia A. Garret; and grandchildren, Imir, 9, Kyree, 8, Khiyan, 5, and Sweden, 9 months.
A celebration of Russ's life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the ARW, 22 Ross St., Williamsport, PA 17701. Officiated by long time friend and confidant, Col. Sam Astin. Flowers and donations will kindly be received at the same address.
