Jean E. Thrailkill, 88, of Sayre, Pa., and formerly of Loyalsock Township, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at the Bradford County Manor in Troy, Pa.
She was born May 1, 1924, in Williamsport, a daughter of Irvin and Henrietta Moore Blaker.
Jean was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, retired in 1983 from the former GTE Sylvania in Montoursville and was a member of Faxon Kenmar United Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. in 1985 and a brother, Irvin Blaker.
Jean is survived by her son, Michael J. Thrailkill of Porters Corners, N.Y.; a daughter, Lynette J. Park of Sayre, Pa.; a brother, Harold Blaker of Montoursville; five granddaughters and a grandson.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Michael S. Swimley officiating. Interment will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
