Ruth G. Metague, 80, of Heshbon Road, went to be with the Lord Sept. 17, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Oct. 23, 1931. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marion and a son, Harry.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 38 years, Hector J. Metague. She also has three daughters, Ruth Ann Mcue, Wendy Theriot and Dawn Snyder; and two stepsons, Mike and Steve Metague. Ruth was a proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Emily and Marg.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at Hepburn Baptist Church.
