Unequal justice

September 22, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I've often wondered why law enforcement people like probation officers, police officers and judges who are sworn to uphold the law are allowed to break the law when it suits their needs, and get away with a slap on the patties, except in extreme conditions.

The average citizen on the street would do serious jail time for the same offenses.

And how is it the government can rob the American taxpayers of billions of dollars to use on private pet projects but if we cheat the IRS out of $100 we could be arrested or fined.
