The Williamsport Area School District Alumni Association will host a New York City bus trip Dec. 8 for WAHS alumni and family to take in the sights and sounds of the Big Apple during the holiday season.
The 47-passenger bus will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $55 per person and covers transportation only.
The bus will leave at 6 a.m. from Cochran Elementary School's parking lot, 1500 Cherry St., with one comfort stop as the bus nears the Delaware Water Gap. Arrival in midtown Manhattan will be around 10 a.m., on West 51st St. between Seventh Avenue and Broadway. Pick up will be at the same location at 8 p.m. for the return to Williamsport.
Checks and registration forms must be turned into the Alumni Office by Nov. 14.
Registration forms are available in the Alumni Office at the District Service Center, 2780 W. Fourth St., or online at www.wasd.org/alumni under "Events."
All registrants will be on their own for buying show tickets in advance and arranging meals.
