Announcement has been made of the engagement of Whitney Lee Boyle, Montoursville, and Peter Douglas Rintelman, Williamsport.
An Oct. 6 wedding in Williamsport is being planned.
Boyle is the daughter of Cynthia Boyle, Montoursville, and Kevin Boyle, Bradenton, Fla. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1996. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, in 2000, and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, in 2002. She is employed by The Eye Center of Central PA as a physician assistant.

Rintelman is the son of Marilyn Rintelman, Saukville, Wis., and Dennis Rintelman, West Bend, Wis. He graduated from Homestead High School, Mequon, Wis., in 1987. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education from Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., in 1991 and is pursuing a master's degree in sport administration at Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Mich. He is employed as a physical education teacher.
