Ann J. Martz, 93, of Woods' Edge, 2150 Warrensville Road, Montoursville, formerly of Ringtown and Reading, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Susquehanna Medical Center.
She was born March 3, 1919, in Shenandoah, Pa., the daughter of George and Helen (Keller) Wallace.
Ann was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and the McCann School of Business.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late George E. Martz. She is survived by three daughters, Maryann Sweely of Big Flats, N.Y.; Karen (John) Blaschak of Montoursville; and Gail (Joe) Madden of Sinking Spring; six grandchildren, Gordy (Kim) Sweely,
Wendy (Scott) Jackson, Nichole (James) Crawford, Ashley (Marcus) Stout, Jeffrey Madden and Holly Madden; four great-grandchildren, Amanda and Garrett Sweely and Caroline and Emily Crawford; and one cousin, Emory (Cindy) Keller.
Ann was predeceased by her sister, Aldona, son-in-law, Gordon G. Sweely and granddaughter, Ann E. Madden.
She was an active community volunteer and former member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Ringtown and St. Ignatius Church, Reading. She was formerly employed by Colt's Firearms, Hartford, Conn. and the Ringtown Dress Factory, Ringtown.
Reading was one of Ann's passions, but her greatest gift in life was the unconditional love she had for her family and friends, including "the ladies" at Woods' Edge.
Interment will be in St. George's Cemetery, Shenandoah. A celebration of Ann's life will be held in the future.
