Joseph Michael Durren, 18, of 629 Campbell St., has been charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly taking another man's cellphone by force in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue about 7 p.m. on Sept. 11, city police said.
The victim in the case was Chad Holley, police said. Durren was taken into custody in the 600 block of Third Avenue soon after the incident, police said. Following his arraignment before District Judge Jon E. Kemp, Durren was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
