Endless Mountains Wine Trail wineries host ‘Wine and Treat’

WELLSBORO - The member wineries of the Endless Mountains Wine Trail will host their first-ever event, "Wine & Treat," on Oct. 20 and 21.

The six member wineries for this Halloween-themed weekend featuring complimentary wine samples, spooky food pairings and a souvenir Endless Mountains Wine Trail wine glass.

Tickets are $15 for tasting and $7 for designated driver tickets.

Trail event participants will get to choose which winery they'd like to start. Once the starting winery is visited, event participants can then visit any of the other five wineries at any time throughout the weekend.

Appropriate photo identification will be required.

The Endless Mountains Wine Trail covers the northeastern portion of Pennsylvania.

Formed in 2008, the founding wineries came together with the idea of working together to promote the wine industry in beautiful Northeast Pennsylvania.

Many of the wineries are located along or within a few miles of the PA Route 6 corridor.

The wineries specialize in all types of award winning wines from dry, semi-dry and sweet and many of the wineries have gift shops to complement the experience.

Endless Mountains Wine Trail members include Antler Ridge Winery, Grovedale Winery, Laddsburg Mountain Winery, Maiolatesi Winery, Nimble Hill Winery and Pickering Winery.
