Announcement has been made of the engagement of DeeAnn Elizabeth Miller, Avis, and Charles William McLaughlin Jr., Jersey Shore.
A May 25 wedding at Little Pine State Park, Waterville, is being planned.
Miller is the daughter of Deborah and Gerald Miller, Avis. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1996. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Bridgewater College, Bridgewater, Va., and a master's degree in education from Mansfield University.
