Announcement has been made of the engagement of Meagan Lynne Saar and Jack Lynn Fetzer III, both of Jersey Shore.
An April 20 wedding on Old Route 220, Jersey Shore, is being planned.
Saar is the daughter of Linda and Charles Baker, Jersey Shore, and the late William Saar Jr. She graduated from Liberty High School in 2003. She received an associate degree in secretarial science from Newport Business Institute in 2005 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education at Ashford University Online. She is a homemaker.

Fetzer is the son of the late Alice M. Alm and the late Jack Lynn Fetzer Jr. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2005 and attended classes in culinary arts at Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed by Halliburton.
