Ida C. Richardson, 93, of Williamsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born April 8, 1919, in Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of Louis and Reta Lohr Shaffer.
She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Ida enjoyed crocheting, hunting, fishing, cooking, baking, and attending family picnics.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Richardson, in 1979; two sons, William P. Richardson in 1993 and Howard J. Richardson in 2011; two brothers, Lewis Shaffer and John Shaffer; and sister, Sarah Taggert.
Surviving are daughter-in-law, Deborah Richardson of Linden; five grandchildren, Jenny, Jason, Dustin, Deniell and Amber; 10 great- grandchildren, Dylan, Chase, Lexey, Laylee, Caleb, Mason, Gunnar, Jett, Gage and Angel; two siblings, Gene Shaffer and Anna Lambert, both of Bedford County.
Visitation will be held 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Timothy R. Kinney Sr. officiating.
Burial will be private in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
