Loyalsock Girl Scout Troops celebrated Girl Scouting’s 100th birthday by cleaning up Susquehanna State Park on Sunday. The troops planted flowers, raked leaves, installed a bench they made and mulched around the bench. The funding for the plants, mulch and bench were from a Going Green Initiative grant specifically for the Girl Scouts. Above, planting a flower, are from left, Katy Schon and Stevie Nappi, Brownies from Troop 61371; Lauren Brandenburg, Senior Cadet from Troop 60218; and Hannah Winter, Brownie from Troop 61371.
