I keep thinking about the one letter I read about being inconvenienced by the 9-11 ride. Last September, right after the devastating flood in our area, the 9-11 Memorial Ride took place. I keep picturing the people who had their homes and probably everything they owned, ruined in that flood, but yet those flood victims could take their time to stop the cleaning up of that smelly mud, fuel oil, and God knows whatever else, and stand on the sidewalk amidst all of their ruined possessions, and wave their flags to the 9-11 motorcyclists, paying respect.
But yet someone who was held up in traffic for a little could take the time to write a letter to complain! I really hope that this ride will continue every year. I plan my schedule way ahead of time to be sure I can stand on that sidewalk and proudly wave my flag.
