Ann Marie Hartzel

Ann Marie Hartzel, 71, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Unit.

She was born Dec. 20, 1940, in South Williamsport, a daughter of Andrew Joseph and Anna Mae Tebbs Yeagle.

Ann graduated from Williamsport High School in 1958. She had been an office clerk for 11 years at PA Power and Light Co. in Williamsport, bookkeeper for J.C. Decker Inc. in Montgomery, bookkeeper for Tinnie Mercantile Co. in Roswell, N.M. and bookkeeper and secretary for Lincoln County Land & Cattle Co. in Roswell, N.M.

She attended Faith Christian Church in Williamsport. Ann served for three years as Den Leader for Pack 27, Den 2 of Conquistador Council of B.S.A. in Roswell, N.M. Her special needs Cub Scouts won the Presidential Award in 1978.

Ann was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, David Andrew Yeagle and Carl Alan Yeagle; and two sisters, Ruth Naomi Yeagle and Connie Mae Yeagle.

Surviving is Ann's husband of 50 years, Lewis Randall; a son, Dana Leland and Marcy Hartzel; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. R. Kenneth Weiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
