Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday Ruth A. Love-Schooley, adult education specialist for PA CareerLink of Lycoming County, will be the speaker. She will discuss how we can "Help Others Along Their Career Pathways." A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Pastors Jim and Kathy Behrens. James is pastor of the Picture Rocks United Methodist Charge and Kathy is part of the pastoral team at the Wallis Run-Mill Creek United Methodist Charge.
